Chicken Tractor Plans

Hi, My name is Eric McCarthy, and welcome to Chicken Tractor Plans. The innocent request of my six year old daughter to raise some chickens led me do a little research online and find out if even possible. I am a middle-aged teacher with only basic construction skills and a very limited budget, so I knew if keeping chickens required an elaborate and expensive structure then it would not be feasible.

In searching chicken coop plans, I came across the term “chicken tractor”. After reading about chicken tractors, I knew that was the
solution I was looking for. It turns out that chicken tractors are ideal for suburban backyards like ours, and are quite simple to build. The materials for our chicken tractor cost under $100 and were based on a set of chicken tractor plans I purchased online.

Listed below are different chicken tractor plans and and asy-to-build small chicken coop plans that I found during my search. I also found numerous plans for larger chicken coops, but I knew these were beyond my budget and abilities so the plans listed below are ones that are cheap and easy to build, and best for those looking to keep just a few chickens.
